Great Choral Classics III

De La Warr Pavilion, Marina, Bexhill-on-Sea, TN40 1DP

With the Sussex Concert Orchestra and soloists Peter Grevatt (baritone) & Kristy Swift (soprano)

This is our third Great Choral Classics concert at the De La Warr Pavilion and it includes a range of great choral music with something for everyone!  We move from ‘classical’ items such as Orff’s Carmina Burana (familiar from many films and TV series), Mozart’s Dies Irae (Requiem) and Schubert’s well-loved Ave Maria, and pieces by Beethoven, Fauré, Stainer, Haydn and Elgar, to selections from Lehar’s Merry Widow, Gilbert and Sullivan, and finally some great songs from Rodgers & Hammerstein musicals, including Oklahoma, Carousel, The Sound of Music and South Pacific. It promises to be a wonderful evening.

Tickets £16, £15, £13, £12; students & under-16 £5

Please note tickets are on sale only from the De La Warr Pavilion (currently online/email only)
