An RSS feed (or news feed) is a means by which you can stay informed about what's going on at Bexhill Choral Society without having to regularly visit the website.
To make use of an RSS feed, you need some "feed reader" (or "aggregator") software. Most modern web browsers have feed readers built in.

Bexhill Choral Society is always happy to welcome new members. We invite potential members to come along to rehearsals for a few weeks to try it out and see if it's right for you. This is free of charge and any music required will be lent to you. We welcome people with a range of musical knowledge and experience, although it is helpful to have some ability to follow written music, and essential to enjoy singing! After a few weeks there will be a short and simple 'Voice Placement' (not an audition) with the Director of Music to check that the choir is the right place for you and to confirm your voice part.
We rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 7-9. Rehearsals are generally at Little Common Community Centre, Shepherd's Close, Little Common, Bexhill TN39 4SQ, but on the 4th Wednesday of each month, because of a prior booking at LCCC, we rehearse at St Barnabas Church, Sea Rd, Bexhill TN40 1JG.
We sing 3 concerts a year, generally in May, October and December, the last being a Christmas concert. We sing a range of music, from 'classical' choral music to Gershwin and the Beatles! Our conductor is well-known local conductor, musician and composer Kenneth Roberts, and our accompanist is local musician and organist Nigel Howard. As well as our concerts, we have other events such as Kenneth Roberts’ popular Lecture Recital, and social events, including a Quiz & Ploughman’s evening, Christmas lunch, and regular drop-in coffee mornings.
Members pay an annual subscription, currently (September 2023) set at £120. If joining during the membership year this will be pro rata. There is increasing evidence that singing in a choir brings real health, emotional and social benefits as well as enjoyment, so why not give it a try?
